Review: Pumpkin Rot
A review on Brandon’s The Mothman of Point Pleasant score: “An exceptional soundtrack by Brandon Dalo. Crazy good. An entirely different animal played outside of the documentary. Highly listenable on its own. And truly creepy. I haven’t been this excited about a soundtrack release in a very long time.”

Brandon brings the emotion, and the emotional kick, and the mood - those are all Brandon.”
Podcast Interview: Leak Project
Seth and Brandon join the Leak Project to discuss their films. Brandon had this to say about how he got started working with films in the interview: “I’ve done music my whole life. I had a little bit of regional success in rock bands and then about five years ago I kind of ‘discovered’ film music with the movie The Dark Knight. That music just opened up a whole world of new music for me. I was like most people who don’t pay attention to film music. It was kind of like it was an invisible force that you never really thought about. But after that movie, I started really paying attention and started to want to go in that direction.”
Review: Horror Society
In a review about The Mothman of Point Pleasant documentary, Brandon’s score is commented on: “I’d also like to say that the original scores from Brandon Dalo really helped to pack the much needed emotional punch I talked about earlier. His compositions were spot on and he accomplished the job of evoking conflicting feelings inside me and he should be applauded for his efforts here.”
Review: Search the Woods
In this review on the documentary Beast of Whitehall, the following is said about Brandon’s score: “The music matches the movie seemingly scene to scene. There’s an eeriness in much of the score that somehow avoids ‘creepy’. It’s not a ‘monster’ movie in the way most of us have become familiar. It’s a story. It’s a part of a town that is more interesting than anything Hollywood could dream up. The music reflects that. I would imagine that’s a hard, very thin line, to walk but Brandon Dalo did it very well.”
