I had a little bit of regional success in rock bands and then about five years ago I kind of ‘discovered’ film music with the movie The Dark Knight. That music just opened up a whole world of new music for me. I was like most people who don’t pay attention to film music. It was kind of like it was an invisible force that you never really thought about. But after that movie, I started really paying attention and started to want to go in that direction.”
